Roman Sward found from the CITY OF DAVID

A recently discovered  2,000 year old Roman legionnaire's sword is shown at the Israel's Antiquities Authority in Jerusalem
A worker with Israel's Antiquities Authority holds a light to show detail on a 2,000 year old iron sword, still in its leather scabbard, that was discovered late last month during the excavation of a drainage tunnel leading to Jerusalem's Old City, at the IAA office in Jerusalem, August 8, 2011. The Roman legionnaire's sword was found in a drainage tunnel that served as a hiding refuge for the residents of Jerusalem from the Romans at the time of the destruction of the Second Temple
