RE: No "Compromise" ... No "Negotiations" ... The Government Is Out Of Control. Cut It Or Shut It!
Mr. Boehner, the American people did not hand your party the majority in the House of Representatives in November to play "nice-nice" with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. The American people did not instruct you to "go along to get along;" and the American people most certainly didn't thrust you into your present position of leadership to conduct "business-as-usual." Your task was simple; stop ObamaCare and the federal government's out-of-control spending.
Harry Reid, Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi have instituted failed policies that are pushing this country to the brink of bankruptcy. Seeking "compromise" with those who are dead-set on promoting a twisted agenda that is crippling this great country is not a "negotiation" ... it's "extortion." And the American people's demands for fiscal sanity are not "extreme," they're common sense. The Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda is a FAILURE and you were NOT given the Speaker's gavel to put a GOP stamp on their failed policies.
The negotiations stop today. Congressman Mike Pence said it best: "If liberals in the Senate would rather play political games and shut down the government instead of making a small down payment on fiscal discipline and reform, I say shut it down." Heed those words and live by them, Mr. Boehner. The American people made a simple demand in November: De-fund ObamaCare and restore fiscal sanity to Washington. Either make it happen or get out of the way in favor of someone who will keep the promise!
It's beyond shameful that patriotic Americans, like you, must continually crack these elected officials over the head with the "reality stick," but that's exactly what must be done... before it is too late... before these so-called GOP Leaders "negotiate" and "compromise" our children and grandchildren's future away. Mr. Boehner, the insanity and the idiocy stops today!
"What's extreme is the thought that government can just continue on this reckless path without consequence. What's extreme is thinking we can blithely watch the nation's debt get bigger and pretend it doesn't matter."
Thirty House freshmen sent a scathing letter to Harry Reid that read, in part: "Mr. Reid, your record on spending in the Senate is one of failure. You have failed to pass a budget, failed to restrain spending, and failed to put our country on sound fiscal footing. We do not accept your failure as our own. The American people did not send us here to fail."
Representative Michele Bachmann has already said; “The time has come to take a stand.” And Representative Steve King told a group of Tea Party supporters this week: "I'm going to fight Obamacare until it's gone."
I will add to this that all you in Congress need to ACT AND ACT NOW!!! Our dollar is going to CRASH AND BURN we the American people will pay for your mistakes with inflation as we have never seen. Along, with that riots in the streets and kayos, food prices are soaring as you do nothing to NOT JUST CUT "GOUGE" the budget. You all need to save our country you have the power use your media get your message out do what needs to be done. You must act and act fast!
