Polio strain spreads to China from Pakistan as if the world did not have enough to worry about.

In my research found that this Polio has spread to China last time back on 1999 after being brought from Pakistan this was confirmed by the World Health Organization.  It said a strain of polio (WPV1) found in China was genetically linked with the type now circulating in Pakistan.   There has been seven cased now confirmed in China's western Xinjiang province, of course borders Pakistan.  The World Health Organization has warned there was a high risk of the crippling virus spreading further during Muslim pilgrimages to Mecca.

Polio (also called poliomyelitis) is highly infectious and affects the nervous system, sometimes resulting in paralysis.  It is transferred from contaminated food, drinking water and feces.  We can only hope the Chinese authorities move quickly to vaccinate and quarantine this out break of Polio.
