Conatel said Globovision had broken broadcasting regulations in its coverage of disturbances in the El Rodeo prison outside Caracas in June, in which more than 20 people were killed.
Conatel director general Pedro Maldonado said the channel was being fined for its "editorial conduct," which had "promoted hatred and intolerance for political reasons". This is why you must get rid of these "THUGS" as they masquerade as being for the people when they clearly are not.
The government has frequently accused private media companies of using their power to try to undermine the democratic authorities. Mr Chavez has accused Globovision of supporting a 2002 coup attempt and of plotting to assassinate him. State-owned media has expanded dramatically since Mr Chavez took office in 1999. President Chavez is only looking out for his own neck. He should be removed from office for his repressions on his own people. As also we here in the United States Of America need to take head of the communist that live among us and changing our country for the worse. We have elections to remove such goons, if you are not for the country than good bye, it is "WE THE PEOPLE" who rule this country. Some have forgotten that part. They will soon be reminded in 2012.
