Can the UK withstand another blow to its financial system and higher cost of energy I am sure is not helping anyone especially the poor and elderly.  If gas and electricity go out of reach for many of citizens in the UK what happens when it comes our way here in the United States.  We here can hope to hold on until the 2012 elections to where we can pull back all of our Presidents mistakes or better word "Blunders".  Obama has only weakened our country and made our enemy's more alert to blood in the water.  Or some others would say more emboldened to act against us.  Take for instance just this past week the Iran situation we must strike them before something worse takes place.  We and our allies must protect the FREE WORLD- we do not want the "NEW WORLD ORDER".

I hope and pray for the peoples of Europe that things will ease up and get some normalcy, how ever that may be show up to be.  For we are still in the boat shifting about ready to sink.   If energy prices in the UK get out of control as these numbers may show a starting trend that will come across the ocean and reach the US soon enough.  Here below are some of the numbers in the UK.

The 5.2% rate is the highest CPI measure since September 2008, and it has never been higher since the CPI measure was introduced in 1997.  The Retail Prices Index (RPI) - which includes mortgage interest payments - rose to 5.6% from 5.2%.  Bills for gas and electricity have risen 9.9% in the past month, and are up 18.3% on the year.  Transport has risen 12.8% on the year, and food was 6% higher than 12 months ago.
