Following cloture, on Thursday, October 6, the US senate was poised to cast a pro forma vote on final passage of a China currency bill when Senate Republicans attempted to use the rules of the Senate to attach a post-cloture amendment. The Republican amendment would have required a vote on President Obama's jobs bill, forcing Democrats to vote on the jobs plan President Obama says Republicans were blocking. There were not enough votes so the Senate Democrats to force closure or pass the bill, allowing the amendment would have blown up the charade that congressional Republicans are the lone roadblock to Obama's jobs bill. It is his own party that is blocking the bill.
It is best the Tea Party just look to get 61+ conservatives in the Senate in Nov 2012 - that's the only way to assure the end of that outrage. Republicans have shown time and again that they don't have stomach to play hardball with the left. For what ever reason the GOP establishment can not or won't get their message out. We must re-place the weak with new "CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVES" in the Senate and Congress. Only than will our country get back on the correct path of the great nation we are. We must stop and re-look at the Harry Reid plan of giving away the store and in 2012 the Republicans get their simple majority votes to repeal ObamaCare and Harry Reid and company can scream to the press that the Republicans changed the rules (or something) to get rid of ObamaCare. No one will remember or read in the mainstream media that Harry Reid sabotaged the Democrat party in October 2011 but didn't feel it until January 2013.
The Republican leaders now need to step up and make themselves heard and get their message out loud and clear. Stop the stumbling over the own feet and sentences and in that loosing the back bone to do what is right for this country. We are the United States Of America the last supper power we need to hang on to that and push forward. To be way beyond even that. To keep the world in peace with the protection of our allies and to keep them close and our enemies even closer. This President has done a lot of damage to this country in only 2 1/2 years along with his buddies in the Senate and the House remember they were in control the last years of President Bush's term, so really were does the blame belong.
In closing, I would like to add what if, Harry Reid has set the stage for the out-rite repeal of ObamaCare to get back at the President for putting his party out to dry. My whole concern for our country is not only increasing, but accelerating each and every day. When this anti America bunch first came into power, I was able to convince myself that they were not intent on the destruction of America; they were simply misguided. It is with total incredulity that I watch these traitors total dismantle our liberties and our home.
