Seven Republican presidential hopefuls have attacked President Barack Obama's overhaul of the US healthcare system in the first major debate of the 2012 campaign.
Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney pledged to repeal "Obamacare".
The candidates for the party's nomination refrained from attacking one another, preferring to hit out at Mr Obama.
